Foresight II
Two hours passed since I hung up on that interview with Becky and her simper smile. Oops.
Fifteen seconds to go. I take some deep breaths. It’s weird that I still get nervous.
Suddenly, the front door bursts open, four agents come running in, rifles and all.
“Taylor Cortes?” One of them barks.
“Yes, that’s me,” I say, trying to stay calm.
The agent swings around effortlessly, slapping restraints on my hands. “You’re coming with us.”
