Lifewalker

“The dreams began in my youth, but lately, they’ve grown so vivid.. I’m perched up high, volant. I hunt, I glide — I’m free. Does this make sense?” I ask, laughing nervously.

“Jake, what do you think this group is for,” the leader prompts gently.

“For those with intense, sometimes unsettling dreams, right?” I glance around, meeting the understanding eyes of others in the room.

“Jake,” she says, gently taking my hands. “These aren’t dreams, they’re memories. You’re what we call a Lifewalker.”
